Syringe Pumps


A Device which includes small infuse and withdraw capability, used to administer fluid (with or without medication) to a patient is popularly known as a Syringe Pumps or a Syringe driver. Most probably syringe pumps are used in palliative care, to regularly administer various types of drugs such as analgesics, anti-emetics etc. These pumps are also used for IV medications. It is also useful in microfludic application, like micro-reactor design and testing. In enzyme kinetics these pumps are used to observe the rapid kinetics as part of a stopped flue apparatus.
